Equal Public Education For ALL

It is of my opinion that (being a veteran teacher), If you truly believe in the ideals of capitalism, the idea that if you work hard you reap the benefits, then you must support equal public education for ALL! Merit based pay for teachers that is based in any way on standardized test scores, only pushes good master teachers away from low income schools. Who wants to work twice as hard for less pay? There are too many variables that dictate the "success" of a student  and school to make paying a teacher based on their classes' test scores fair or equitable. This is a perverse use of data. Write your legislators to let them know you support EQUAL education for all.
