We ventured out to the ceremonial start of the Iditarod today. The race to Nome will really get underway from Willow tomorrow. The mushers and their teams trot through Anchorage, the most populated city in the state the day before. We've been to the Willow start in years past, but for me the heart of mushing lies in the Yukon Quest.
