Sunrise: 4:21 AM Sunset: 11:42 PM and bluebird skies... Happy Summer Solstice! The days will be getting shorter now. A darkened sky makes sleep come much faster for little ones. The Bear and I walked downtown for music in the park. He was ready to go, so we didn't bother mozzying around the other festivities.
This is a fantastic book written and illustrated by Alaskans. When working in the classroom I read it to my students every year at Equinox or Solstice and had them chart the daylight and darkness.
