Easter Weekend
Easter was a quiet day here in Anchorage for our family. Papa Bear was finishing up a long weekend training trip in Hatcher's Pass with his climbing partners for Denali. When he got home we did a small egg hunt and made an Easter bag to put his eggs in. I made a lasagna for the boys fresh off the mountain.
On Saturday, the day before, Little Bear & I participated in a Guiness Book of World Records event, at our local The Great Cloth Diaper Change event. It was a celebration for earth day, supporting the use of cloth diapers to reduce waste in landfills. It was an early event, 8:30 am, on a Saturday, but it was to coordinate the most simultaneous cloth diaper changes around the world. So far they've recorded 6277 little bums were changed at that moment. A friend of mine owns a cloth diapering store online (birchtreebaby.com), where we've purchased most of our supplies from, organized the wonderful event. It raised some money for some fantastic local charities too!
