It Has Been a While!

It's been a looooong while since we last posted an entry. Taiga Trekkers and the Anchorage Outdoor Family Network, both founded by me, have really taken off and are the center of my energies outside Our Family.

Thanksgiving was perfect and quiet this year. We only had one other family join us for the big feast, as it seemed like everyone else was headed "Outside" for the holiday.

Tomorrow we will be headed out to cut down our Christmas tree... legally from the National Chugach Forest. Ben used to call my cutting down of teeny tiny cabin sized trees in Fairbanks, poaching. It wasn't but it makes for a better story. Since we've been in Anchorage we've bought them.
